Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada is an actress most well-known for her role as Bo on the Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and is a drama teacher in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories of playing rehearsals with her mother. Silk starred in numerous commercials for children. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts from St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved out of Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles within the decade that followed 1999. Silk met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop located in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple was wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. When she converted to Judaism the couple renewed their wedding vows at a Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk was blessed with a son that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk is famous for her tv role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by for the Gemini Awards. She landed a principal role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus, on the television show Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the season's third finale episode. She announced the pregnancy to viewers of the show during the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk, who has been involved in the production of Lost Girl since the final season episode premiered on the 6th of January, 2013 on Twitter, announced her readiness to return on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer as the same-sex couple in Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top TV Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought an enormous online following using social media.
